Since I picked up my first toy camera as a child, I have loved photography. People have always been my favorite subject. With over 25 years of experience in the portrait industry,  I am always up for a fun challenge! Whether it's photographing your newest addition to the family, high school senior, the entire family or helping with your portrait restoration project, I love what I do!  -Shae 

Samantha Spears has been a wonderful asset to Shae Koonce Photography since 2017. She started with the studio as an intern while attending Leavenworth High School and has continued to assist at the studio as needed ever since. Most of her time is spent editing behind the scenes, now days. You may also find her assisting with customer service, with family/children's portraits & more.

In 2024 we welcomed Mike Trapp to our team. He has a background in community and social services. He brings lots of insight to the studio. Mike has been a wonderful help with marketing and promoting our studio, working hard, behind the scenes. We are excited to welcome him to our team. 

 Child Photography Assistant Zoey has been a studio institution for 16 years. Zoey followed Shae from another studio in 2005. Zoey takes joy in the delight of children and has recently launched her own Facebook page. Kudos to Zoey for her long service in helping children smile.
